Mr. Middlebrooks is a shareholder of Apollo BBC, Inc., a forensic consulting firm focused on diagnosing and resolving problems with buildings. His responsibilities include business development, financial strategies, and day-to-day operation and management of personnel and projects. Apollo BBC provides its expertise and integrated services (structural, building envelope, and mechanical system) to its clients nationwide.

In addition to managing business operations, Mr. Middlebrooks is a technical expert in the areas of Mechanical Engineering, Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems evaluation and design, Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) evaluation and improvement, and Building Commissioning. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and is a licensed professional engineer in multiple states. Mr. Middlebrooks is experienced in dealing with new construction as well as retrofit and repair applications.

Mr. Middlebrooks a Board Member of the Greater Houston Chapter of the United State Green Building Council and is a Leadership in Energy Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP). Mr. Middlebrooks is also a Certified Commissioning Authority (CxA).

Key professional interests include forensic analysis and remediation of indoor comfort problems, historic preservation, building commissioning, and sustainable design.

Prior to joining Apollo BBC, Mr. Middlebrooks held technical consulting positions Texas and Rhode Island where his expertise was utilized for litigation support services, forensic investigations related to failures of mechanical systems, indoor air quality evaluations, and insurance related cause and origin investigations.
